Welcome to Exelon Electrics. I am a self-taught electrician and work around London. I sometimes make mistakes but I am only human and always do an alright job of the electrics. Exelon Electrics is basically an electrician firm and I handle a lot of stuff related to electricity. I am ok with electrics and always learning. My job involves making sure people have power in their homes and businesses, and I’m part of the team that keeps everything running smoothly. I do everything from installing electrical systems to maintaining power grids actually. It’s a pretty important job because without electricity, things wouldn’t function, like a kettle. I’m part of a one-man crew that’s responsible for keeping the lights on and making sure everything electrical is working like it’s supposed to.

Here I am, working on some electrics at BBC London. It's pretty exciting to be involved in such a high-profile environment where everything needs to be absolutely spot-on. My job involves making sure all the electrical systems are functioning perfectly, whether it's for live broadcasts, studio setups, or just keeping the place running smoothly. Working in a place like this means there’s no room for error—every wire and connection needs to be exactly right. It’s a great feeling to know that my skills help keep everything on track, and I’m proud to be a part of something that so many people rely on every day.

A Japanese-style lighting project

I was working on an electrical job at someone’s house, and I have to admit, things didn’t go exactly as planned. I made a couple of mistakes while rewiring some circuits, and, well, there was a small fire. It wasn’t anything major, but it definitely caused a bit of panic. I quickly jumped into action, got the fire under control, and then focused on fixing what went wrong. It took some extra time and effort, but I managed to get everything working properly again. In the end, the homeowner was just happy that everything was sorted out, and I learned a valuable lesson about double-checking my electrics work.

House rewiring

I was working on some wiring at a house, and I accidentally cut a wire that ended up taking out the power in the kitchen. The rest of the house was still fine, so I figured it wasn’t that big of a deal. I decided to leave the kitchen as it was, since it wasn’t super important at the time, and focused on making sure everything else was running smoothly. The homeowners didn’t seem too bothered, and I figured they could get by without the kitchen for a bit. Not my finest moment, but at least the rest of the house was in good shape!
